[help] African Grey feet feathers

Hello dear african grey buddies! I hope you and our beautiful feathered friends are doing well and okay.
I've been really hectic w/ work and a few days ago it has come to my notice that my boy is missing feathers on his feet.
I've caught him pulling his feet feathers, i have no idea why he's doing that.

Do you guys have any piece of advice to give me? Or perhaps a few directions you could point me w/ ?
Sorry if such issues have been posted before as I was unable to find any threads/posts.

Do you mean the feathers on his legs? There are not supposed to be feathers on the actual feet.

He is plucking those feathers.
First thing IMO is a vet visit to rule out illness.
