I'm Jack, I am new to owning birds and I am trying to learn as much as I can.
I have two cockatiels who I am trying to switch them from seeds to a pellet and chop.
One of them is 7 months old and loves to be around people. My other bird is 3 and is adopted. He plucked some of his feathers but seems to be doing better now.

Welcome to the forum. I believe that since tiels are granivores, they need some seed in their diet. I feed about 50% seeds, 15% pellets and the rest vegetables. If you chop raw broccoli tops into tiny pieces, they look like seed sprouts. Sprinkling those on top of seeds can be a good way to get them to start eating vegetables. My tiels also like leafy greens- you can hang big leaves in their cage and see if they will chew on them. I also have had better luck with nutriberries than regular pellets with tiels. For chop, you can give them chop and sprinkle a few seeds on it. Hopefully with the act of foraging for the seeds, they'll try some of the chop too.

Definitely need to keep a good portion of seed in your Tiels diet (like sunnysmom mentioned) as they need it alongside pellet and fresh veggies to stay healthy.
