I just joined on Friday and look forward to being part of this community!

So a little bit about myself: I'm still in school and I've only had budgies (due to the fact that my mom won't let me get a slightly bigger bird and won't let them out).

Welcome to AA. Budgie s are fantastic birds. Don't sell them short. Bigger birds are not better birds! If you want another bird get a second budgie. Learn all about their needs. I am a senior and I would never think less of a budgie because of their size.

As @Lady Jane said, don't sell Budgies short! They're wonderful birds, and make great companions. Size of the bird is of little importance...budgies, lovebirds, parrotlets...all small in size, but all have large personalities with big hearts...

Welcome Welcome to the forum. I have two Lovebirds........I actually think they might even be smaller than a Budgie. I almost got Budgies instead of my Lovebirds. I love Budgies, hope to read more about you and your bird!
