Hello, My name is Aila, and I'm a student from Canada. I didn't get to properly introduce myself as I was busy trying to deal with my 6 week old baby lovebird who wouldn't eat( I didn't know that babies are not weaned that young) A lot of kind people here helped me out and I'm truly grateful ! From my first post I knew that the people here were lovely and warm and I got the help my baby needed. Thanks so much and I hope I have lots of fun !




This is my 6 week old lovie. I believe he's a guy I still don't have a name. Any suggestions would be great !

Welcome to the Avenue. Dissemination of knowledge is one of the things we are here for and I am glad we could help. As far as a name goes. I always wanted to name a LB Aga; which is a portion of their species name, Agapornis. I thought Pornis was too....suggestive?
Or, those of us on AA are also known as Roadies because of our street and highway theme. I kind of like Aga, though.

By the by, how is the little one doing? I hope you reported the breeder to the local State agricultural agency or at least the local SPCA or humane organization.
