Hello everyone!
I’m in Southern California. I’ve been a bit bird crazy my whole life.
I’ve had small birds before, budgies, tiels, and finches. I rescued a house sparrow last year (Chirpy Boy) and got one of my dream birds this year, a violet IRN. My little sparrow is a very sweet little man, and demanding as heck! My IRN on the other hand is not at all tame. She’s a year and a half old. We’re going slow trying to build trust. I didn’t clip her wings. I’m also trying to get her on the Roudybush pellets.
Looking forward to actually being a part of the forum and seeing everyone’s babies!

I’m calling her Violeta unless the DNA tests tell me otherwise. This is the day I brought her home and her on the way to the vet on Monday. I think I phrased it a little odd in my first post, I have only had her 2 weeks!
