Actually, the pony wasn't mine. She was a mini horse that was in the stall across from my horse's stall. We joked around saying that we wanted to buy the mini so that Hardy the pionus could have his own pony. Hardy and the pony got along very well! The rest of the horses in the barn weren't so keen on Hardy, esp. when they'd be in a lesson and trotting past us - Hardy would ruffle his feathers or squawk, and the poor horses would spook in horror while their riders (usually my daughter) cursed me out.
