Im new to having an account here, but I've been watching and reading for a while. I decided to make an account because my beautiful cockatiel, Ellie, recently passed away. It's been really hard to cope with her death because it was incredibly sudden and unexpected. I've considering adopting a new feathered friend in a few months-years, but I wanted to give myself the chance to remember and accept the loss of Ellie, first.

In the meantime, I'd love to listen to stories of other people's birds, learn more about parrot keeping, and hear more about other people's experiences!

I'm sorry for your loss of Lily. She and Ellie do look very similar, it's not often that I see a tiel that looks so much like her.
