I’ll just start this off by saying hello everyone. So my story is this.
I been around birds most my life. Parents had a blue and gold when I was younger. Then when I was like around 19. I ended up getting a scarlet Macaw. I had it for a few years and ended up rehoming him becuase I wasn’t stable enough like I thought I was. I used to help at a place in KY that works with birds. So fast forwards until now a guy wanted me to take his bird in. Which I’m ready now. He said he only wanted me to take him that he trusted with his macaw to give him a forever home. Well I told him it would be a couple weeks just because I needed to get things ready get him a cage and everything. Well after 3 days he just ended giving him away to someone else. Which really sucks becuase I really wanted the B&G. I was about to go get a cage and everything. I guess it wasn’t meant to be but still kinda sucks. But, I do continue to search for my old scarlet macaw that rehome about 12 years ago or so. His name was Roscoe he’s around 12-14 . Man, I just miss that bird and one of my biggest mistakes I ever did.
