What is this like? How do they act together as a M/M couple? I´m very intrigued... I´m imagining it to be part blissful, though I know the boys can get terribly hormonal just like the hens but in other ways.

They can be very cute together, but Fishy is a tad bit self-centered and wants to always be receiving the grooming rather than giving it. Poor Toki will nudge his head against Fishy’s chest and stomach in an effort to solicit the elusive reciprocal grooming! He’s very sweet to Fishy and wants to sit as close as he can and follows Fishy everywhere. Fishy seems agreeable to the closeness but occasionally pushes Toki or tweaks a toe (he’s not hurting Toki, he’s just being a jerk - which of course I discourage). Sometimes they go through the motions of feeding each other, but no food is brought up.

I wouldn’t house them together as I don’t trust Fishy not to bully Toki in that situation, especially unsupervised.

That is interesting they ¨feed each other¨ without bringing food up, I´d expect that from girls, but I would have thought the boys would feed. Interesting
