I am not sure what you mean. Is the baby feathered, in a cage, a brooder, ill,...? I am not sure what they purpose would be.

I am going to be getting a 2 to 3 week old baby quaker and I will have to keep him warm.
If you don´t have the equipment, could you ask the breeder to wean the bird before you take him home?

I'm also in favour of ensuring young birds are fully weaned before going home.

In addition to @Zara 's comment about equipment, you'll need to hand-feed a bird that young (requires a degree of expertise), and it would also be best to have a gram scale to monitor weight (additional equipment).
