Head Bopping

Our Quaker has been home since Saturday and he’s doing amazing! He just started making some cute sounds today. Just now he started bopping his head with loud but cute sound.. I’m not sure what to think of it. I was in the kitchen cooking when it started and he had just woken up from a nap. Any thoughts?

How old is he?
Is it possible he was begging for food?
It is hard to say what it was about without actually seeing it as there are a few different reasons birds do funny head movements

I tried to upload a video but it’s not working.. he is approximately 4 months old. He did hop on me to get to his food bowl soon after so maybe he was just hungry.

Cute!! No it was more of an up and down motion of the head while looking upwards with loud squaking, if that makes any sense..

That can be because they want your attention, food, to go somewhere, because they are excited, or later they may do it because it makes us laugh!
