He’s HOME!!!!

Baby is finally here! His name has gone from Merlin, to gonzo, and now we don’t know… Ha ha. We’re waiting to see more of his personality before we name him officially. But he’s doing great! Loves his cage and all his toys, is eating and drinking and pooping. The kids and the other animals are being very sweet to him. (from a very safe distance of course)
The whole family is already in love with him!

He loves this one toy that has leather straps with beads on the end, he already untied one of the knots and let the bead hit the floor. He was very excited about that! He loves pinenuts, and we had a major bonding moment tonight where he was preening me and I was preening him and he was very softly squawking. My husband was not sure at all about him, but he is his new favorite thing!

We picked that name based off of the Muppets. He’s kind of cute, and a little goofy looking, and really lovable like a Muppet. I think that it might stick.

totally! It feels surreal to finally have him here! We did get him DNA tested and he is in fact a boy! I am the only girl in our house now! Ha ha. I have three sons, a boy dog, a boy cat, and my husband and me!
