Have profile posts been banned?

Just curious. Because when I checked at "new profile posts" the last ones were over a year ago. Is it because no-one uses them, or because they're not allowed anymore?

I also can't react to or post any profile posts. Is it because I'm a minor? Or because of above reasons?

Profile posts haven't been a thing for quite some time. The ones that were made are still available to view, but no new ones can be made, and I believe reactions are disabled as well.

Profile posts features have been disabled for everyone, even staff It was exceedingly hard for us to moderate because they don't show up the same way as threads do.

We also saw that new members found it really confusing as they didn't know there was a difference between threads and Profile posts, and would get upset because no one was responding to their questions.

Like threads or signature. People used to forums may be familiar with the terms already.

For people who are new to forums, just navigating and reading will help them understand what´s what. I had never been a part of a forum before Avian Avenue and managed to pick up the terms quite quickly in reading.
