Yep, that's the relationship between my zon poppers and my wife. The minute my wife is up in morning, poppers goes into kill mode up until oh about 1-2 ish everyday.
After about that time it's like a light switch has turned off and wants her momma and cuddles.
It's like a daily game poppers plays. And she gets aggressive. My wife will sometimes play along in her game.
" Look, I'm touching your daddy.!! " ....And here comes poppers ready to attack! Head down, wings spread, beak open. You never seen a zon run so fast to get in front of me and shoo momma away.
After about 1 or 2 in afternoon, she wants her momma and they are pals then.
Strange behavior, but we've learned to go with the flow.
