Harrison’s High Potency Question

Hi,
I was looking to try Spearmint on Harrison’s pellets, and had a few questions.
Does he need to do the 6 months on the high potency if he’s already on a pellet diet?
Can I put him straight into the adult whole life formula?

High potency is recommended mainly because high potency is fattier and yummier. Maybe more convincing next to seeds. If you have a chronically ill bird that’s another time to consider high potency.
