I think I'd have the same problem with the threads and strings. I don't want anything that could be dangerous. Also, I might have problems with getting them on her as they aren't usually stretch.

If you find the perfect fit, you could do a hem around the edges. reduce the risk of little feet getting caught.

I had her tested for a million things (giardia, zinc/lead, candida, psittacosis, etc.) and all were negative. The vet thinks it's a hormonal thing. It could also be an allergy but I haven't been able to locate what would be causing it because she gets a very similar diet every day.

Harper is beautiful. I am thinking taht since I sew I should figure out something for little plucking birdies to wear, thus far mine don't pluck but who knows. Let me think on this once

I sew happy huts for Jimi.
The sweatshirt material they sell at JoAnn Fabrics doesn't ravel once you get the end straight from cutting. Plus it would have a little stretch.
