i made a harness for my parrot but she keeps chewing on it and tryijng to put her feet under it. its also very hard to get it on her. how should i get her used to this

Just be sure the harness is a good fit as to not restrict breathing, but also be secure enough so your bird cannot break it and fly away.
Maybe have some practice days at home to trial it out
