Hey guys. I’ve previously mentioned how I will adopt a Sun conure, I want to buy a good harness for him as well and start training asap. Can you recommend me some good brands ?

The aviator is the one I’ve seen the most of, seems every second person with a bird has this brand- I have this brand of harness.

The avian web is another I’ve heard a bit about.

Leathers for feathers I think may be another (not sure if the name is right but I think it is)

Yes I have the aviator harness that shezbug referenced. The website says they ship internationally and the size guide says you’ll need an xsmall. My GCC is about 75% of the way to fully wearing it so I can’t report on using it outside yet but it seems well made.

I have the aviator for Burt. Haven’t used it since being in the house I’m in as it’s not safe to take Burt outside here. It was well used before we got here and I had not a single problem or concern about it’s safety.

What size do you have for Burt and what's his weight?

I have one for Jericho, but Oscar needs one and he's 1050g (the top of Large or the bottom of X-Large).

Burt usually weighs approximately 1190g.

Burt’s weight goes up and down a bit and he does get heavier than the previous quoted weight- his highest weight has been 1198g but he goes through real gutsy stages where he’s eating non stop then he goes back to eating only for fuel. I expect him to weigh no less than 1190g ever but I do prefer when he’s a little meatier.
