Happy vomiting?

Do budgies happy vomit? Not regurgitate, vomit. She’s spraying seeds everywhere. She did this when I first brought her home a few months ago. I got her a new wooden branch perch, she loved it, and stared spraying seeds. She didn’t do it again for a couple of months, but recently she’s started to do it again. She only does it when I get her out to play with her bestie(cockatiel). I’ll open her cage, she’ll do a few laps around the room while I get the other bird out, then she’ll stop and chill for a little bit, and then start vomiting. After that she goes back to exploring or playing. She’s not acting sick at all and she only does it when she’s out. Is she just really bad at regurgitating or should I be concerned?

A video might be helpful if you are able to get one and share a link to it. If it is vomiting rather than regurgitating then yes you should be concerned but I think it is best to first determine if it is vomit or regurgitation.

What makes you think it's not regurgitation, as opposed to vomiting?

That’s the video I posted to Reddit the first time she ever did it. Her shaking her head like that was when the seeds would come out lol. And the picture I linked (hopefully) is what comes out other then seeds

Cant tell much from the video u posted to reddit but her head movements look erratic and more like vomiting.
What is she eating? Is she vomiting on the stick?
Can you get another video of better quality?

That video was from like 8 months ago now. That was when she first started vomiting. I don’t think she was eating the skin off the stick just peeling it. There was no actual bark on it. she was vomiting? for like 2-3 days and then stopped. it started back up again like a month ago like every once in a while. She’s been to the vet in between now and then (she went end of July)
and they told me she’s was fine.

I have no idea how to add videos. But I got another video of it today because I moved her cage into a new room and she was doing it a lot, which is why I think it’s emotional related. She doesn’t do it when she’s just chilling in her cage. she eats seeds and I’ve been trying to get her to eat pellets since I got her but she won’t(I’ve tried a bunch different brands and ways of giving them to her). In that video she was not vomiting on the stick just everywhere. That video was 8 months ago and she’s doing pretty much the same thing now.

You can share videos by linking them from another site such as FB, Instagram, vimeo etc
