Technically it was on the 5th, but his birdy bread didn't arrive until late last night so I'm celebrating with him today instead x_x I'm sure he won't be too bothered haha.
We have officially spent a full year together now!!!!!! It may have started really rough, but I am so happy that I pushed through it and get to be by his side after all this time!! We've both become so much closer since the beginning where we both didn't properly understand each other, I never thought it was possible for me to love something as much as I love him. I'm so glad to be part of his life, and hopefully I get to stay by his side for the rest of it. <3
You may have noticed that when I first joined here I said that he was 6, and now am saying he's just turned 5- Buut, basically, we've come to the conclusion based on his behaviour and his ring colour, he's a lot younger then what his previous owner had said. Not a problem with me, though, it means I (hopefully) get to spend more time with him haha.
For a few little updates on how things are going for us, all I can say is things are AMAZING!!! He's as happy as he can be at the minute, his vet says he's looking super healthy and his diet is good, and we're now working on some communication skills!! I'm trying to teach him how to use a tablet to talk and teaching him words!
It may be tricky but I believe in him, I really think it'll help our bond a lot.
I'm super proud of how far we've come, and I will never give up on my sweet boy, no matter how prickly his personality may be sometimes. I love him SO MUCH!!!
