A homemade stand i made
I was working on the second idea but this is so close.

The third idea I was working on is about the same only out of PVC pipe. I don't have any photos as I haven't made any thing out of PVC because nobody in MI carries gorilla pvc glue

If you could only see the look on my husbands face when I suggested the flagpole!!!!
:glare:

:laughin:
I actually think a tiny little hole in the ceiling would look so much better....tell him I said that! And stands, etc take up more space....a little hook is soooo much easier.:D

I agree, the screw eye makes such a little hole, that's what i used.
Anchors and toggle whatchamacallits make a much bigger mess  at least when I put one in  never again

screw eye, much better :highfive:

Since Nani's jumbo was so heavy, I bought my own stud finder, found a stud and used the screw eye...you hardly know it's there lol (the screw, not the atom. )

Just one more thought for holding up a pole -
I got some really heavy cast iron christmas tree stands on sale after season.
They work great too!

That is a good idea, someone has used one of those outdoor umbrella stands too.

Danita have you shown him this thread? Umbrella stands, pvc pipe, flagpoles....great ideas but.....one little eye hook is all it takes!

Are your ceiling just drywalled or are they wood? If they were wood I would understand his concern!

Chris your ceilings are all wood right?

I thought of John as well. However, we have the toy hanger from him, and it wouldn't be strong enough for the Atom...BUT, can he make one 'special' with heavier round stock SS?
I know we would also be interested...since some of Mijo's toys are too heavy for the SS toy hanger.

Is that the fellow that made your heavy duty Stainless steel toys?
Some custom hangers from my cages would be perfect. Newman and Bea need their favorite things hung over their cages too.
