Handheld vacuums

Hey everybody, I was wondering if anybody uses any kind of handheld vacuums in the same room as their birds. If so, which ones do you use, because we're looking to get one. We're just worried about any kind of fumes that would come out of it. Because as dumb as it sounds some vacuums have the non-stick stuff in there coating things and we just didn't want to take a chance.

Any advice on this or suggestions on what we could buy for cordless handheld vacuums would be great. Thanks!

I have a Dyson handheld vacuum. I actually never thought about whether it had anything non-stick in or not......

I doubt very much under normal working conditions that a vacuum cleaner would get hot enough to cause any issues with any non stick that may be in it. I could be wrong but considering you’re not cooking with it the warmth that comes from a vac is minimal therefore I’d personally not be concerned.
