Had a dream parrots ate meat

Had a dream the ideal and healthiest parrot diet for all species was completely rare slabs of steak. Owners hung chunks of meat on parrot kebab skewers from cages and made foraging trays with raw ground beef. Insert image of a budgie ripping apart a porkchop like some sort of falcon

Really? Which ones?? I know cooked chicken is safe to food for a lot of species but do any eat beef etc?

My DYH adores chicken legs. When she gets one (I remove 99% of the meat), you'll never know she had one within 30 minutes. She devours it, bone, marrow, and all. Simon the hy adores rib bones. My birds rarely get protein in this form, obviously.

Once watched a marabou stock go nuts on a hanging leg of... something. It was quite the sight. My brother in law still refuses to stop at its enclosure.

I do not blame him... that is a rather horrid looking bird and reading about it only makes it seem worse lol

Well the senegal parrot of my family would like to eat meat that is for sure. He even stole a piece of chicken once. I do not know if it is because he likes meat or rather just the fact that he wants to eat what he sees people eating.
