Guess what I just got???

Im SO excited! I just got a Nikon D90! My DREAM camera... Someone was selling a used one on Craig's list at a price that I just could not pass up. So, I bought it. Hee hee. Now my pics will look as clean and sharp as Saroj's! LOL (I hope, anyway) Cant wait to play with it tomorrow. Im so excited...hope I can sleep tonight.

I do feel super lucky, and a little guilty too. Didnt really NEED a new camera, but, couldnt pass this up. I will sell my D80 and be very happy now for many many years to come.

I know AJ...I cant wait to try it out on the birdies. Wish they werent sleeping ! Have to wait till morning I guess...sigh.

I have a D40, my old faithful and I LOVE it! I can only drool a bit over a D90! Grats on your catch!

Thanks everybody. Im super excited. Could barely sleep last night...how ridiculous is that? I feel like a kid on Christmas.

The D40 is a fantastic camera! I actually liked it better than my D80. I "upgraded" to the D80 but was pretty disappointed. The D40, IMHO, is a better camera than the D80. But I will say, the D90 is just amazing! A whole different world. I LOVE it already! woo hoo!!!

Okay, here we go. Some of the first shots with the new camera. I cant wait to get outside and take some, to see how that goes, but its rainy today so that will have to wait. Here is my favorite subject (well, ONE of them....) JET:

So, what do you think? I dont have a manual for the camera, so Im just winging it (no pun intended....LOL) but I've got a book on order that should help me out when it arrives. Yay...this is so FUN!
