Guess the Bird

I bought a window bird feeder to put outside so Burt could watch the wild birds from his indoor window perch. After much struggling this funny looking bird finally made it into the bird dish. Does anyone recognize this kind of furry bird

I believe it is a Squirrel. One of natures most impressive and daring birds.

Burt seems in ore of this magnificent creature.

The majestic squirrels (at least that's what they call themselves... as they strike very weird poses while falling from the feeder) at our feeder really need to listen to your advice. If they could, they would sit on the feeder all day and angily yell at each other (angry squirrels sound suppisingly cute lol)

I wasn't looking at him when he left, but all I heard was a loud thud, and then he was gone

He has his own corncob, but apparently he was willing to work harder for sunflower seeds

Ours used to have corncobs, and it was really funny to watch them because we had a "squirrel bouncer" which is corn attached to a bungee cord

They still did really well eating it.

This was the little guy during his first visit weeks ago. I think it's time to start putting out healthier options for him

We also have resident squirrel pair, hubby said the girl was a little fat and he could see her nipples, so either shes ready or just had the babies, and is nursing..
