Grow Lights

Hi, I finished building my canary room and I would like to naturalize with plants. I would like to put grow lights on my plants and I was wondering if the lights will hurt canary eyes.

Grow lights can be harmful to human eyes, so they will most likely be bad for your canarys' eyes. There also have been no scientific evidence, but many reports of birds being harmed by grow lights. If you really need the plants to be in the room try to position the lights as far away as you can. Although I say if you wanna go the safer route try to avoid grow lights in their room.

Also, be careful of fungus that can grow in soil. If ingested, it is very difficult, and expensive, to remove from a bird's body.

I washed the old soil from the roots and used coca noir and perlite. I wrap the pot and soil with canvas fabric.
