aww :hug5:, Grim will get better. If you don't see improvement tomorrow than you can call the vet and discuss some other course of action.

Please call your vet and ask about another more targeted antibiotic or combination of two, Grim should be getting better not worse.

Grim get well soon.............:hug8:

Thanks for posting the pics and filling me in. She is beautiful and I sure hope you get to the bottom of what's ailing her.

I agree, it's time to talk to the vet for another possible course of action. :hug5:

Thanks, everyone. The vet told me I should at least wait for three days. Our next course of action was probably to try an antifungal. She seemed pretty sure that the antibiotic would help, if it was a bacterial infection...

I'm not sure whether she's worse or whether I just imagined it. She gets her third shot really soon. I still am hoping it helps...

My grandmother was a nurse and has been, of course, trying to reassure me and calm me down. She says antibiotics don't show drastic improvement right away. I hope she is right. I'm giving it a few more days...

I know I'm posting way too much on this thread, but I'm just writing to say I think her breathing seems a little better, perhaps. She still gasped like crazy when I gave her today's shot (which went well; no leaking), and she seems pretty tired, but what I've noticed is that her chest is not being sucked in with every breath. In fact, I don't think her tail is even bobbing right now. It used to be that even when she was calm, you could see her tail bob and her chest heave with each breath. I think it's pretty normal for the antibiotics to make them a little tired, isn't it? Well, she's eating quite a lot, at least - and getting her fluids. So I'm just crossing my fingers. :angel1:
