Did you hear about them managing to grow teeth and claws on chicken embryos by deactivating some gene triggers? Pretty neat. (though sad that the embryos were killed to be observed.)

Yes, I saw a Discovery documentary on it. I was shocked that gene modification had advanced to that level. It should be interesting to see what they'll do next. Like you, I was disappointed they didn't allow the embryo to live. I guess they wanted to see the developmental stages before they proceeded with additional experimentation.

When I find a working camera with a battery I'll post more pictures. That picture is a few years old. He is into mischief if he's not in his box, cage, or being comfortable with me. Enjoys going into dark crannies where he's not supposed to and fights about it.
