Green pan?

So we wanted to replace our current pans, and green pan has a huge discount. When we bought their pans in the past, it used to say ptfe and pfoa free. But I was reading their site, and it now says ptfe and pfas free. Their faq still says safe for birds, but I wanted to see if anyone knows the different between the pfoa and pfas. Thanks!

PFAS is the whole family of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances while PFOA and PFTE are specific substances in that family. Looks like these pans are anodized aluminum with a ceramic coating, you should be okay.

I don't know about the difference in chemicals, but I can prove the new green pans are safe, as the company states they are. For years my boyfriend has hated cooking on my stainless pots and pans but I wouldn't let him bring his nonsticks into my house for obvious reasons...so he bought a set of green pans just about two weeks ago to leave here at my house. The birds are just fine and the pans work like a dream. Best purchase lately to keep everyone happy
