I would like to recommend Dr. Laurie Hess as a fabulous bird vet in New York. Dr. Hess is a board-certified avian veterinarian (former President of the Association of Avian Veterinarians) who treats only birds and exotics pets. She has over 15 years’ experience treating all types of birds and her experience, knowledge and compassion are unmatched. Dr. Hess is the owner of a new, state of the art full service veterinary facility in Bedford Hills, New York that treats only birds and exotics (no cats or dogs). Dr. Hess’ information is as follows:

Wow, I wish there was an exclusively avian clinic near me. I feel like all the predatory animals in most clinics can really stress out birds who are already sick. Sounds like a great clinic. :)
