Grape branch

Hello everyone.. I have rainbow lorikeet 4 months old, I feed it dry nectar plus fruits. Recently I brought the grape branch near to him and he was scared and even screamed!! Yet, I don’t understand the reason behind it.

Birds can be scared of things without giving us a reason. I had a Hahns who was terrified of all wood branches for years.

Try to put it in the cage, when your bird isn't in there I find it helps

I leave a new object outside the cage but nearby so they can see if for a while before bringing it to them
