@Eloy He's been 90 miles an hour ever since we got him..he never stops! There was not really a settling in phase..he's moved into the living area but isn't allowed to make contact with the others.
I tell everyone he's the chihuahua of the bird world. He will pick a fight with anyone, no matter how big. He lunges at every bird here from across the room and then chatters like he's cussing them out.

Yea me too. I did this one today. Put my hand on the ink and created a blob in the sky. May turn it into a bird.
Oh, no! I hate it when that happens! I smudge all the time.
I just ordered an 'artist ledge' a few days ago you lay your arm on over your painting..
Of course doesn't work if you're using the easel I guess.

Aah. I’ll have to look into that. I do ink laying flat...and was thinking I needed something under my hand...but nothing was right there. Laziness got me.
