Goodbye Stinker my 17 yr old "kitten"

Stinker was my little long hair kitten. I may have had her for 17 yrs but she always acted like a kitten, always into something she shouldn't be and full of energy. That is until the last few days. She just didn't seem like herself so we made a vet appointment for today. Stinker went from kitten to old it seemed overnight. Not true but we just didn't realize how much she had slowed down in the last couple of months. When I saw her this morning I realized she would not be coming home from this trip to the vet.

I petted her until her heart stopped but that is all I could take, I didn't want to bury her. I am just too attached to her. Her ashes will be spread in the mountains. Goodbye my little friend.
