Goodbye Miss Shadow

Today while I was working from home my cockatiel Shadow had a terrible seizure. We went to the vet right away. She proceeded to have 2 more massive seizures, and we couldn't get them to stop. It broke my heart to have to ease her pain and suffering. Miss Shadow was my first cockatiel, and my favorite. I don't know how I am going to live without you.

Thanks again. Its officially day 2. The flock misses her, they go from silence to screeching at me when I come in the room. Its like they are saying "Where did she go?" I've been trying to play more with the remaining 3.. of course while I type this I find Bebe with her mouth open acting strange. good thing our vet is 24 hours. I will be keeping a close eye on her.

I don't know guys. this is tougher than I thought it would be. Loosing Shadow the way I did. The worst part of it all, because of the virus the vets office wont let anyone in the building, so I had to sit in my car the whole time. they let me say goodbye though.

I’m so sorry I know exactly how you feel I to had to put down my African grey because her seizures wouldn’t stop , it hurts to see our babies like that, miss Shadow and my Layla are together now flying high

You must be devastated and that’s ok. Give yourself as long as you need to miss her and try to move on. I’m so sorry.
