Goodbye to my precious baby. You were so beautiful, a lovely wildtype budgie, more yellow than your brother - your feathers wre so vibrant. You were the quiet one, the shy one, the sweet one, much friendlier than your lil' punk of a brother 
You were a rescue from a faulty breeding experiment - you were never healthy, but I still wish I could've held you for much longer. As so often sadly happens, you didn't tell us you were sick until it was too late. I did everything I could, but my darling, it was your time. I got you on Valentine's Day 2016, from which you took your name, and ever since then, your life has been marked with love. You are so LOVED, my Valentine, no matter where you go. Your brother misses you. He always looked out for you. You were so close. He was with you when you passed; that's all I could've asked for. It's just him and me now. He sits on top of my desktop as I type this, watching me. We know we'll get through this together. Thank you for trusting me to be the steward of your tiny, precious life. May God hold your tiny, precious soul.
