HI, I am new to this site and am hoping I can learn and share about my birds. I have a double yellow headed amazon male named Spirit who has owned me for about 3 years now. He is supposed to be about 13 yrs old but he was also supposed to be a female so don't really know for sure. I also have Danny boy who is a male senegal. I am unsure of his age but he is a love bug. I am in southern Maine and had an avian vet for many years. The vet closed down and I have been searching for the avian vet Dr Alex Monroe for over a year now. He was so knowledgable and really helped me a lot with my guys. Spirit has a scissor beak, not bad, but I am having trouble finding another avian vet in my area and I beleive Dr Monroe is still working I just can't figure out where.

Is there a National Vet Association or some something like that? I would think he would have to be registered somewhere to be practicing.....?
