Is there a way to encourage her to sleep?
She often screams near midnight and when I get up at 5AM/6AM she's often screaming too.
She does get covered and we had heavy blinds over the windows during the night.

5am-6am could just be him waking up, is there something that happens at midnight that could disturb him ?
Someone coming home from work etc.

How about a bit of background noise a radio low in the background

I use a white noise machine for my cockatoo, as he used to start screaming around 2:00 a.m. It has helped a lot.

I can't think of anything that could be happening to her at midnight unless she's waking up and listening to the other animals moving around.
That's a good idea. I think we have a white noise machine in the garage, so I'll see about putting that out for her.
Thank you for always being awesome, @Wardy.

Has he settled in more now with the exception of the night time screaming ?
We must be due some pics of him soon.

She's definitely doing better. She loves to take baths, and she's started playing with toys. We're still figuring out favorite vegetables and fruits, but we've got a good start on that. I love her so much.
