Went down to Gilbert Water Ranch today. Took a lot off photos.

Ring-necked duck. You can tell by the ring on his bill...

Mallard under full steam heading for some kids with Cheerios...

American Coot...

First photo of a Sora that I've gotten...

Yellow Bill, black feet - Great Egret...

Black bill, yellow feet - Snowy Egret...

Not a great photo, but the first I've gotten of an Abert's Towhee...

American Pelican's in flight...

In this photo are American Pelicans, Black-Necked Stilts, American Avocets, and the small birds with the long bills are, I think, Long-billed Dowitchers.

I love spotting wild birds, it's like trying to find cool seashells or trying to collect all the special pieces!

The American Pelicans in flight must be my favorite shot. That bright white against the blue sky…
They’re all just stunning!

My favourite is the first. I like how you can see his eye & the foot under water. But I've always wanted to see a pelican!
