A love letter to my Gigi
2 years ago I had never heard of a Linnie. Then you hatched, came into my life and became the little force you are today. Just the right combo of sweet and sass. You have brought me incredible joy. We have so much fun each day. I love watching and cheering you on as you make a few noisy loops around the living room. You play so cute with your toys, growling and buzzing at them. You love your spray baths, leaning over so far to get every last feather wet. It's hard to not laugh when you show your temper. You might scream when I touch your stuff, but then fly over onto my shoulder, lap or knee, never holding a grudge. You love your routine and give me a chirp if I'm running late. You give me little kisses as I wake you each day and frantically arrange your toys each night as I start to dim the lights. You have such a wide variety of vocalizations and I can often tell what happening from a room away. Yep, you are on the bottom of the cage, doing that chortle. You are so friendly and have turned all my family and friends into "bird people." I am so lucky. I hope we can grow very old together my beloved green girl.
Love, Mama
