Pictures Getting Ready For Bed

Peep always stuffs his little crop till it’s ready to pop. Then has a big drink. Then preens his “feathers” thoroughly. Then stuffs his crop some more. Has another drink. And it’s off to bed. I love his little routines. Here he is between the first and second stuff-fest.

I think so. The CAV said they have to eat enough to get them through the night. Because of the feathers you just don't notice it. And their feathers need to be properly arranged to keep them warm.

My cockatoo does the same thing. Eats a ton before he goes to sleep.
