Good day to all.
I'm stuck and can't seem to find the answers.
My first Question:
When using the G.C 1.3 the is these X1 X2 options on the Sex-linked mutations, what does it mean and when do you use them?

Second Question:
I found that when the calculator generates sometimes it show the mutation with a (-) like below and some calculations with no (-) like bottom image.

What does the (-) mean?

Is there some way to learn more about this Genetics Calculator 1.3?

I've never noticed the (-) before, interesting! I would suggest emailing the creator of the Genetics Calculator, Mr. Martin Rasek, at martin@rasek.biz.

I can't remember exactly, but you can see the same when you calculate the next examples also:
Green cheek conures,
Dilute cinnamon opaline (male) x turquoise cinnamon (female)
Turquoise (male) x dilute cinnamon opaline (female)

I asked as I believe that it is writing the mutation opaline cinnamon as "opaline-cinnamon". It is a compound mutation. The confusion is that they are listing the second name for the opaline mutation, yellowsided, in-between the two mutation names.

I don't know about Lovebirds, but I use that calculator for Lineolated Parakeets ... and I've found that the colour, mutation, whatever follows the / is a 'split to' - not something seen, but can be passed on and the designation within brackets (seems to me, anyway) to be another word, possibly in more common usage (?) for the previous word { Dilute (edged)} ... wonder if its the same for Lovebirds
