I am so excited I finally found a breeder near me and have about 2 week wait till my new little girl is ready to come home.
I have never seen a grey parrotlet and think she is gorgeous.
I also included pictures of her siblings and also mom and dad look just like them
Breeder said she has only ever had 1 other grey and is still not to sure how she got them
My question is genetically what color would be the best male to get for future breeding (pieds are my favorite but hard to find here)

How is your baby doing?
She doesn't look like a Grey bird? She looks like a Blue Fallow.
Fallow is a Recessive mutation, meaning both parents have to carry the gene to produce Fallow baby. Fallows have VERY red eyes, and softer colors. The softer colored sibling is also a Fallow. If the parents look just like the siblings, then both parents would have to be split to Blue to produce your baby. If I'm understanding everything that you've said, then the breeder would have only a 12.5% chance in each clutch of producing a visual Blue Fallow.
