Fiona bit me today too!!! I was replacing a food dish on her place stand and bam!! Thank goodness Fiona really does not bite hard (as far as I am concerned - I guess it's all relative when you also have a SHARP Grey beak and a BIG Macaw beak )

Wow, so do I just offer my arm to Ray and say have at it and be done?? Kota nailed both me and my DH yesterday, he can't sit still and has to fly around like a goof and Fiona has been alarm calling steady - usually reserved for someone coming in or out the front door, it's pretty steady every 10 minutes or less. Ray has his wings out in display or just hovering most of the day. This is our first year everyone is absolutely in sinc with their hormones. Usually Kota hits it a bit closer to the middle or end of February. Oh well, this too shall pass - but just with my fingers, hands and arms much more well guarded than usual.

Thanks! I know we are all dealing with it - I usually get so darned lucky and have it staggered a bit more. Seems earlier this year for everybirdy in our house this year - I always expect it closer to the first week of Feb so it seems like we are about 3 weeks earlier....

We went through it in Nov. and in Jan. Usually it's Nov. and Feb. Maybe I'm in for another "Fun time at the feather farm".

Nice to know I'm not the only one buying up bandaids. Oh what we go thru for love. My BG Macaw just wants to build a nest, my G2 Barney is torn between helping her and wanting to glue himself to me and my female G2 Cuddles is fustrated because she wants to go mate with Barney but isn't allowed to because she then beats him up. Add to that my Senegal, Grumpit is trying to romance my TG, Gadget by feeding him (doesn't seem to notice they are both males. Hopefully all will settle down in a few more weeks.

ugh I know...I have a dancing, regurgitating ringneck who is romancing our feet constantly, a humping male semi cage territorial lovie and a humping regurgitating male budgie ...ggah!

Both Chiquita and Boomer are acting up. Every time I put fresh food and water in Chiquita's dish she gives me a nice bite. Every time I try to do something she squawks and I get a bite. If Im putting her treat/mash dish back in her cage she keeps biting until it’s on the side of the cage. If we are at the computer and she is on my shoulder and I turn to look at her she gets furious.

Boomer’s been cranky too. When he gets mad his head feathers stick straight up and he squawks. He has had a little attitude lately and is very stubborn. It’s hilarious when Boomer gets mad because he is so little but has a huge attitude. When he’s mad he is MAD!!!! He won’t listen to me. He will bite the bars and just get down right mad. Big attitude, little bird.

So over here Im also dealing with attitude.
