Hi! I got my GCC less than a month and she is a 3 months old girl. She is on mixed vegetables and bird pallet diet, and my room is 74-75F

These days she started wet sneeze, like 1-2 per day and the rest are all dry. She looks pretty healthy otherwise. Yesterday night makes me so worried because around 1 am midnight, I heard some sneezing and light noise in the cage, I took her out and I saw clear discharge from nose and was running on her beak. After I cleaned her nose and beak, no more discharge but I can hear some light noise from her nose, like liquid is slightly obstruct her nostril. The noise went away in an hour and no more discharge. There is no breathing sound.

In the morning I checked her again, everything back to normal. No more discharge from nose, no more sound from nose. She eats well, very playful and poop is normal. Her vet check will be next Monday, I am taking her to a bird specialist.

At this point, I am very confused about whats going on. Even her wet sneeze is not continuous. Thank you so much for the help!

I'm glad you've made a vet appointment.

You can try taking her into a warm, steamy room. Turn a hot shower on, let the room get steamy and then bring her into the room. You can bring in a playstand or similar for her to perch and play on while she's in the room. This can help ease breathing.

Thank you!, I have a humidifier next to her cage and I will try the method you mentioned!

I am just not sure if this is allergic/ normal nose discharge due to irritation or infection. She just seems very very normal and she even took a shower herself!
