GCC- breeding help

Hello, I have a bonded pair of 3 yr old GCC- normal (M) and Yellow-Sided / dilute (F) is there any tips on how to make them breed quicker or when will they breed ? They eat together play together- everything they do is together. They always are in the nest too as they sleep in it at night and peak in there during the day, they have been doing this since September-Octoberish. Although I’m thinking maybe they’re waiting till around the February time ? Please let me know what u think, thank u so much ! All is appreciated !

Are you sure they are male and female?

Are they on a healthy, varied diet?

Is the hen flighted and does she get a lot of exercise via flight?


They might not be ready to breed yet. Some parrots have no problem breeding throughout the entire year, while others will only breed at certain times of the year. It depends on where you live and your setup.
