I have been planing on getting a new bird after having owned cockatiels. I couldn’t decide between IRN and GCC. I was thinking of getting both. I have found each that have been hand fed and tame. Both are around 12 weeks. I figure they will need separate cages but my concern is will they be constantly calling to each other. I know my cockatiels did.
thanks

An Indian ringnecked parakeet can cause serious harm, or even kill, a green cheeked conure. You would have to keep them in separate cages.

I have both of these and they are caged separate. They don't call to each other but they both do their calls throughout the day. My advice is to cover the top of the cage of the one that you don't have out so the other can't land on the top and get their toes bitten! Hasn't happened to us but before I started covering the tops I saw the glare in their eyes, waiting to get their beaks around those toes :bored:
