Gabapentin

I got gabapentin and Meloxocam with a Lupron shot for my boy with enlarged testicles the gabapentin is flavored and has black specs floating in it ,, they said it was the flavoring (kale) is this normal?

Did they offer any other flavors? Kale does not have a good flavor so to speak.

I choose kale because he likes kale more concerned with the black specs
