So my husband wants to hear some funny stories about your babies.... he told me to tell the story that he thinks is so funny about Rio.

We went into a casino that allows pets and Rio has been in love with my husband since he fed her a wild honey crisp apple the other day, so she rides on his hat all the time now.

Well the slot machine he sat down at was a pirate themed one and it shot cannons when you win something. I got up to go to the bathroom and came back and sat beside him at another machine to watch him, Rio and him just playing along and he accidentally hits the volume up button. As soon as he did that the game goes POW! And Rio flew off his head , she thought she'd been shot. It was so funny. Poor Rio.

What are your funny stories or pictures? My husband has been so much more attached to my little bird now since he won her heart with an apple and loves seeing the cute and funny other stories and pictures of everyone else's. Its kinda cute seeing him get excited about Rio and in pet stores looking at other birds. Lol

 

[Oscarbird]

Oscar likes to knock things off of shelves. He will purposely push them off to watch them fall onto the floor. Then he'll run up to the edge of the shelf or wherever he is and will look down at the fallen object by turning his head so one eye is looking down. Then he'll wait for me to pick up the object and then Oscar will push it off the shelf again. It's so funny to watch, I'm glad that he's only shoving unbreakable things off of shelves, or else we'd have a problem!

That's so cute! Almost like a game that human toddlers play isn't it so crazy how much they are like real children?

Rio has made it a habit to act like she is hurt or something just so I'll pick her up and get her out of the cage then she is just fine. Just like a baby fake cries.

My husband says I spoil her but he is starting to spoil her more now too, haha. We do take her with us everywhere and she has a big travel cage in our car. We do a lot of cross country travels, as we have land and homes in 2 different states on each side of the country lol. She even got to go to a Renaissance festival and sit on a pirate. Her favorites are the green markets or little farmer markets with all the fresh new foods to try.
