Thanks Saemma! I did try a similar truffle with crushed pellets and they ignored them
Your's look great!

The recipe: I mixed some fresh chop+grain bake with a beaten egg and tossed it in a greased skillet (cuisinart makes non-stick surface skillets without teflon /PTFE).
I wasn't skilled enough to flip it in the air-- it all broke up, but the birds didn't care

I don't know about budgie's specific diets.. are they allowed egg?....I only let everyone have a teaspoon each as too much protein can harm the kidneys. Budgies are much smaller than my guys so you would scale accordingly

Budgies can eat anything that bigger birds eat. Just limit amounts accordingly.
