Well, I got the recipe from a source of which most people around here do not approve. It is a mix of millet, quinoa, oat groats, hemp hearts, whole brown flax, chia seed, canola seed (also unfortunately known as rape seed), and rolled oats. I can PM the recipe to you if you would like it.

Actually, I think I know what you're talking about. We're on the same brain wave. I am not as disapproving of them as other people.
How are your boys liking it? I am not sure mine would eat it. They won't touch sunflower seeds.

They like it very much, but they do tend to pick out the bits they like best. I mix it with their pellets that I have powdered in a coffee grinder just for that purpose.
